The picturesque Heather Glen Country House Hotel offers exclusive use for all our weddings and when we say exclusive, we mean it. You have the run of our beautiful house for the duration of your stay. For maximum privacy and utmost control over your special day, Heather Glen is a superb choice.

We are licensed to conduct weddings in our West View Room which can seat up to 110 wedding guests. In addition to this, guests have full access to the rest of our reception rooms and our Eden View Restaurant, where we usually serve your wedding breakfast, with enough space to up to 200 evening guests too. With cosy snugs, comfortable lounges and two and a half acres of lush gardens overlooking the stunning Eden Valley, there is plenty of space for you to enjoy your wedding day with those you love most, and our bespoke hotel wedding packages let you do just that.

On entering Heather Glen, you’ll find yourself surrounded by warm wood panelling and plush furnishings, stylish fittings and original Victorian features. Our boutique hotel prides itself on being a full-service wedding venue, with excellent facilities, a wonderful team to serve you and a truly unique setting. We offer a range of all inclusive wedding packages, offering you complete control over the schedule for your wedding day. Choose from an extensive menu of canapés, starters, mains, desserts and evening snacks, a wide variety of bubble and wine pairings, and numerous well-stocked bars. Our most popular wedding package is the Glen Wedding Package which includes accommodation for your family and friends in our seven ensuite bedrooms, including our superior super kind bridal suite, welcome drinks, wedding breakfast and evening food. As we do not usually book weddings on consecutive days, you are also welcome to stay with us the night before your wedding day too and enjoy an evening with your nearest and dearest before you tie the knot.

Where do I start?! Staying at the The Heather Hlen over 2 nights to cover our wedding day, was like being cared for like queens!! Judith - superwoman and her amazing staff are the best thing since sliced bread! Attention to details, making sure all guests were catered for, our guests who we had stay, making sure all was in order for them in their rooms. Food was out of this world. There was nothing that was too much hassle. If I was to get married again (never-well maybe a big party) I wouldn't think twice about booking the Heather Glen again!! Thankyou so so much for an amazing few days.

Our daughter and new son in law held their wedding reception at the heather glen on Saturday, from start to finish it was just amazing, the venue, the food, the staff all were fabulous, nothing was to much trouble, we had an absolute ball and we have had so many comments about how much our fellow guests enjoyed themselves. From the first time our daughter and her partner met Judith she made them feel so at ease and looked after them so well, and gave them their dream. My husband and I can not thank the Heater Glen enough for making our wedding day special from the start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they made all our guests feel welcome. Recently stayed here for a family wedding. Not only was the venue and it's surroundings truly beautiful but staff were amazing. All staff members were so welcoming and helpful making a very special day even more special. Food service was efficient and to high standards. Waitress's went out their way to meet the needs of guests and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Owners/hosts were also extremely friendly and hospitable. Couldn't fault it!
