Built in 1900 by a local stonemason for his family, Heather Glen first opened its doors to the public as a country club in the 1950s. In 2008 the house was adopted by the Smith family, Dennis, Judith and Damion. Since then it has been carefully restored, renovated and refurbished to the high standard you see today. The original country house, complete with its fantastic features, has been returned to its former glory with new rooms added in a more contemporary style.

Heather Glen is run as a labour of love for the Smith family, with siblings, cousins, children and grandchildren all pulling together to make this beautiful place a haven that all visitors can enjoy.
