With difference spaces, some large and small, and as a licensed wedding venue on the cusp of the Lake District, Heather Glen Country House Hotel is an exceptionally unique wedding venue for small, intimate weddings.

Our West View Room is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and looks out over the beautiful Eden Valley countryside beyond. After tying the knot with your favourite person, retreat to the Eden View Room where we will host a bespoke, bijous wedding breakfast for between 30-70 guests. With seven sumptuous ensuite bedrooms, including a superior super king bridal suite, there is space for your family and friends to stay with you before and or after your wedding day. We have additional accommodation close by too, should you need it.

For those on a budget, a midweek wedding might be everything you dreamed of instead of a weekend wedding ceremony. Avoid the hustle and bustle of busy weekends and enjoy a relaxed, out-of-the-way wedding where you can revel in our comfortable country house accompanied by those closest to you. Explore the local area, take in the gardens and simply spend time with loved ones, with ample space in which to unwind Heather Glen is your home away from home.

Where do I start?! Staying at the The Heather Hlen over 2 nights to cover our wedding day, was like being cared for like queens!! Judith - superwoman and her amazing staff are the best thing since sliced bread! Attention to details, making sure all guests were catered for, our guests who we had stay, making sure all was in order for them in their rooms. Food was out of this world. There was nothing that was too much hassle. If I was to get married again (never-well maybe a big party) I wouldn't think twice about booking the Heather Glen again!! Thankyou so so much for an amazing few days.

My husband and I can not thank the Heater Glen enough for making our wedding day special from the start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they made all our guests feel welcome. Recently stayed here for a family wedding. Not only was the venue and it's surroundings truly beautiful but staff were amazing. All staff members were so welcoming and helpful making a very special day even more special. Food service was efficient and to high standards. Waitress's went out their way to meet the needs of guests and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Owners/hosts were also extremely friendly and hospitable. Couldn't fault it!
