We are an exclusive use wedding venue here at Heather Glen Country House, and when we say exclusive, we mean it.  You have the run of our beautiful Cumbrian country house for the duration of your stay. 

Situated between Penrith and Carlisle, Heather Glen is a superb choice, for maximum privacy and utmost control over your special day.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies in our West View Room which can seat up to 110 wedding guests. In addition to this, guests have full access to the rest of our reception rooms and our Eden View Restaurant, with views across the Eden Valley. This is where we usually serve your wedding breakfast, with enough space to up to 200 evening guests, too. 

With cosy snugs, comfortable lounges and two and a half acres of lush gardens overlooking the Cumbrian countryside, there is plenty of space for you to enjoy your wedding day with those you love most, and our bespoke all inclusive wedding packages, from intimate elopements, to midweek weddings and grander gatherings, help you do just that.
