Stayed here for a Saturday night on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal as an alternative to the mad busy lake district. The place was lovely, rooms and bed very clean and comfy, everything looked new, staff were very friendly, food was gorgeous. We'll definitely return.

One night stay, dinner B&B. Great food, polite efficient staff and spotless rooms. Decor is modern and looks new. Even sorted a flat tyre in the morning after a lovely breakfast. Just doing the basics very well, no fuss. Highly recommend. Will return.

Fantastic one night stay to break a long drive from Hampshire to Scotland. A very friendly, warm welcome. We quickly felt relaxed and refreshed. Lovely quiet spot. We had an excellent supper. Very impressed by the range of dishes on the menu and the fact that the hotel uses all local produce. All cooked and presented really well. A little gem just north of the Lake District/south of the Scottish border and would definitely recommend.
